چکیده

The objective of the present study is to examine behaviors chirped optical solitons in fiber Bragg gratings (BGs) with dispersive reflectivity. form nonlinear refractive index represents polynomial law nonlinearity. By virtue phase-matching condition, discussed model coupled Schrödinger equation reduced an integrable form. Consequently, having various profiles such as W-shaped, bright, dark, kink and anti-kink are derived. Further this, chirp associated these soliton structures extracted. impact reflectivity, self-phase modulation cross-phase on pulse propagation investigated it induced that changes cause a marked rise amplitude which subject minor variations by physical evolutions described along corresponding pave way for possible applications field BGs.

Chirped in-fiber Bragg gratings for compensation

It is well known that chirped (aperiodic) refractiveindex Bragg gratings can be used for compensating for the dispersion of optical fiber waveguides.' When used in reflection mode (in contrast to transmission mode), such Bragg gratings exhibit large dispersion. As well, the sign of the dispersion in reflection mode is easily controlled. Together these two characteristics suggest the use of chir...

Interaction of Bragg solitons in fiber gratings

We investigate numerically the interaction between two copropagating Bragg solitons in a fiber grating. We find that, in the low-intensity limit, the interaction is reminiscent of the nonlinear Schrödinger solitons in that Bragg solitons attract or repel each other, depending on their relative phases. However, the relative phase between two Bragg solitons is found to depend on their initial sep...

Nonlinear Fiber Bragg Gratings

In this paper we review some of the dominant topics in fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs). The combination of theory and simulations shows that these structures can use in filters, nonlinear fiber optical applications, soliton propagations etc. We discussed the theory of FBGs, grating solitons, Bragg soliton generation in intrinsic media and birefringence effects in FBGs together with some numerical s...

Gap solitons in Bragg gratings with a harmonic superlat- tice

– Solitons are studied in a model of a fiber Bragg grating (BG) whose local reflectivity is subjected to periodic modulation. The superlattice opens an infinite number of new bandgaps in the model’s spectrum. Averaging and numerical continuation methods show that each gap gives rise to gap solitons (GSs), including asymmetric and double-humped ones, which are not present without the superlattic...

Microchanneled Chirped Fibre Bragg Gratings For Simultaneous Refractive Index and Temperature Measurements

We report here the fabrication, charaterisation and refractive index sensing of two microchanneled chirped fiber Bragg gratings (MCFBGs) with different channel sizes (~550μm and ~1000μm). The chirped grating structures were UVinscribed in optical fibre and the microchannels were created in the middle of the CFBGs by femtosecond (fs) laser assisted chemical etching method. The creation of microc...
